Errans Ruber
Robots on a alien world make a discovery.
written, directed, edited and shot by Michael J Dowswell
music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Aspect Ratio: 2.35:1
DIRECTORS STATEMENT
This is actually the second version of this film, it's been made quite a bit shorter than the
original, other new things about it are, a new font for the main titles more detail on the
last shot, more detail added to the robots, base and vehical.
As crazy as it sounds I actually want to go back and do a third version of this short, and have started
to do a third version. The first poster below is from that, in 2007 I discovered that hard shadows
on some shots look much better, and I now know that my fuzzy two layered look was a bad idea.
people say dont go back, but as long as we can break these up into different versions
why shouldn't we go back and have multiple versions?
I want to go in there and re do it all out in 1.25:1
STILLS
A still from the 1.25:1 ratio version.

TRIVIA
-The idea for the film came about when Dowswell simply put the 3D skeleton sticking up through the ground, he was just
messing around, and did not know that he had just created the third last shot for the animation. One compositional shot
became two, and then the rest of the ideas started to stem out on how the film could lead up to this one scene.
